Hello! My name is Samara Aguilar Truebas, and I am undergraduate student at Florida International University double-majoring in English Literature and Political Science, and minoring in International Relations. My journey through the Global Learning Medallion program at FIU has been a transformative exploration of global citizenship. The Global Learning Medallion program has allowed me to grow not only as a student, but also as a person. The global knowledge I gained throughout my journey in the Global Learning Medallion program is something that I will always carry with me, applying my experiences to foster a world characterized by global awareness.
